The brainchild of Raj Somaiya…21st century entrepreneur, modern day socialite and star of 4OD’s ‘My Big Fat Asian Wedding’…Silverfox Events is one of Europe’s fastest growing event companies with an impressive reputation for creating the unusual, the unexpected and the unforgettable.
Here at Silverfox Events, we’re focused on curating events where every small detail is accounted for within the plan. This meticulous method of planning ensures no fine details are overlooked, providing guests the reassurance needed for them to sit back and enjoy the event too.
We are one of the few luxury event coordinators who make sustainability a fundamental practice of the business. Luxury events aren’t typically synonymous with sustainability; however, we look to find solutions to ensure our planet is protected whilst our guest are able to celebrate and immerse themselves in the experience of their evening.
We provide our guests with the assurance that sustainability can be thoughtfully incorporated into their event. By simply requesting it, they can adopt eco-friendly practices tailored to their preferences, with sustainable approaches implemented wherever they are applicable and practical.
Sustainable alternatives
Stylish and sustainable arrivals
Transportation to corporate events can have a significant impact on the environmental footprint we leave behind. At Silverfox events, we can offer our guests a range of sustainable solutions to suit their sustainability needs.
The option to utilise luxury electric cars combines sophistication with sustainability to get guests from point A to B. Electric vehicles allow guests to still commute to the event in a car, but it significantly reduces their carbon footprint
We encourage guests who are willing, to carpool or share transportation. Some examples of luxury chauffeured transportation include buses and limousines. These particular solutions also allow groups of people to travel with seamless logistics for bigger groups.
For those hosting a whimsical corporate event, we can also organise horses and carriages. This traditional method of travelling can provide an experience as well as a sustainable method to commuting.
Decorations: Eco-friendly elegance
Transforming an event space does not have to come at the cost of being unsustainable. We advocate for sustainable decorative solutions to strike a balance between aesthetics and responsibility.
A fantastic sustainable decorative element which can be used is handcrafted eco-friendly confetti. This confetti is made utilising dried petals and leaves rather than microplastics which are infamously problematic. Using natural materials ensures these small decorative details, aren’t destroying the planet.
Making the switch from single-use products to reusable tableware. Not only can single-use plastic and paper litter the environment, but they can visually litter an event and cheapen it. Bringing in durable glassware, ceramic crockery and metal cutlery ensures that no products for dining are ruining the planet’s ecosystems.
Additionally, we advocate for the use of reusable décor elements in our events. That means that no products are used just once!
Going paperless
Event communications can be switched up, swapping out traditional paper invitations for modernised digital ones. Switching from print to digital not only reduces paper wastage but also limits the resources used within the printing process. It also allows those planning an event, to convey the same visual style choices that would have been used for a physical printed invitation.
When printing is unavoidable, we can utilise sustainable resources like recycled paper and eco-friendly inks to lessen the environmental impact.
Sustainable catering
Food is central to any event, and that’s why it’s critical to consider ways of reducing our carbon footprint. By combining innovation with eco-friendly methods, our catering elevates the dining experience and the well-being of our planet.
Zero waste tasting menus look to use every resource within preparing and cooking a dish, adopting a root-to-leaf ethos. The root-to-leaf ethos looks to use every last part of a food product, leaving little to no waste in its place. The zero-waste method for preparing a dish is ideal for those wanting to approach the planning process of their event with the same level of commitment to sustainability.
Some caterers will opt to source ingredients sustainably, whether that’s through sourcing fruit and veg from farmers using regenerative agricultural practices – or buying from local butchers and mongers. Sustainable farming is also about sourcing and supporting businesses with ethical practices on livestock.
Another sustainable practice which can be adopted into the process is by creating seasonal menus. These menus look to make the most of seasonal produce, capitalising on the months when a fruit or veg is at its best quality.
Sustainable floristry
Florals are often integral to any event’s ambience, creating stunning visuals that create an incredible environment. That’s why it’s important to us that we collaborate with florists who champion sustainable practices.
Our approach to sustainable floristry includes sourcing locally grown, in-season blooms, and reducing the carbon footprint associated with transportation. In doing this we not only reduce transport missions, but we also promote community-based agricultural practices.
Our florist partners adopt innovative techniques like mulching flower trimmings from the conditioning process ensuring that every part of the flower goes to use. Using mindful strategies like floral donations for any surplus or unused florals to create bio-degradable confetti.
Saving the planet one party at a time
Every swap we make is done to contribute to a healthier and greener future for our planet. At Silverfox Events, we prove time and time again that sustainability does not mean style or quality has to be sacrificed. It creates an impactful opportunity to redefine sustainable luxury moments.
Let Silverfox Events support you in giving life to your sustainable corporate event.
