The prestigious Le Muerice first opened its doors in 1935 by Charles Augustine Maurice, a Parisian hotelier, aspiring to create a hotel suited to British travellers in Paris. His innovative spirit and ambition are a value still upheld in the Le Meurice today.
Undergoing a torrent of renovations and enhancements, with a major interior upgrade in 2007 by world-class interior designer Philippe Starck. Starck drew inspiration from the acclaimed Salvador Dali, who took residency in Le Meurice and showed his continuous love for the venue with his routine return each year.
